Really, Week 15?

I’m gonna be honest. I’m a little disappointed. I’m not nearly where I wanted to be this far into this whole deal.
I’ve let myself get behind more than I should have and I’ve fallen off the wagon too many times.

However, all that being said. I’ve done better than I usually have when it wasn’t the low carb quick weight loss. Even though the last month I hardly kept track of anything and didn’t really watch what I ate, I still made progress. Just not as much as I had hoped for.

I did lose it and went the other way on the progress by sliding back a bit. But, still, I’m making decent progress. I still kept a mental count of a rough estimate on how many calories I ate everyday. So, not a total loss.

Also, it took me a while to figure out the new food/fitness tracking site so that was a little of a hang up. I like it a lot better that MyFitnessPal. This one gives you an ever changing calorie goal based on how much you’ve eaten in the last week, how much weight you’ve lost, how active you’ve been, it’s been really good. It should be easier now that I figured the site out.

Anyway, here are the stats. Not too bad since the last time I took them was a month ago.

Upper Arms: 16 3/4″ from 15″ 
Chest: 40″ from 39″
Waist: 47″ from 46″
Hips: 46″ from 45 3/4″
Thighs: 27″ from 26 1/2″ 

Weight: 225

Yay!: Didn’t totally lose it over the last month
Meh: Got to stick with it and get active more. I WILL GET UP AND WORK OUT!!!

Goals this week: Get up and work out Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday. Do something outside and active Saturday and Sunday.

Ok, More Confessions

Nothing bad, well, kind of, but not really. Potentially leading to badness, but correctable at this juncture.
See, I set the goal of working out when Seth gets up. I know that it’s only been, like, a few days. But, I’ve woken up with his alarm and promptly gone back to sleep.

I kind of had an excuse for Monday morning. See, we cleaned this past weekend. I mean CLEANED. Our house has never been this clean and put together. Not even when we first moved in. We kind of started in one corner and worked to the other. Then, we moved to the yard. It was all day Saturday and almost all day Sunday. Then, Sunday night was our big crawfish feed with family and friends. So, Monday, I was done. I was wiped out.

But this morning, I really didn’t have that excuse. I just went back to sleep. Tomorrow I will get up and I will exercise. At the very unholy hour of 6am.

If I don’t, then I’mma start cutting another 100 calories out of my daily diet.

Monday. Yay!

So, this weekend was fun. We did a big honkin’ crawfish feed.

I like crawfish, you can’t over eat with those little buggers. It takes a lot of time to peel .5 ounces of meat out of their little tails. Side note, how hungry was the person that first picked up a crawfish and thought “Yum, that’s some good eatin’ right there”?

Anyway, I’ve been using My Fitness Pal to track what I eat and how much I work out.

But, I’ve found another site I like a little more. So I’m gonna give Spark People a shot.

Here goes.

Also, this week starts the “I’m serious guys! I’m gonna start working out!” week. Since Seth is getting up at the unholy hour of 6am, I’m gonna get up with him and workout.

We’ll see how this goes…I hate 6am…And my alarm clock…But I hate my big gut and backside too…

Aaaaaarrrrrrrggggg can someone PLEASE just give me the magic loose the fat pill now? I may even trade my first born grand puppy for it…..

Ok, So I’m Back….

Life got really busy there for a while. But, I’m back and should be good to go from here on out.
Confession time.

I didn’t track what I ate, but made good food choices. I only gained 2-3 pound over the last 2 – 3 weeks that I quit tracking my food.

Soooo, I’m calling that an over all win. I think it shows that I have gotten myself on the right track.

Now, on to fine tuning and a little altering of my original plan.

New Plan:

  • Keep tracking what I eat and strive to eat no more than 1,700 calories/day
  • Focus more on working out rather than what I’m eating
  • Set up an actual work out plan (no more loose goal of 4 out of 7 days, actually schedule work out days and times)
  • Get a bunch of healthy par cooked meals in the freezer so I have dinner within 30 minutes of when I get home
  • Work on not stress eating and eliminate empty calories

Aside from that, the plan is to just keep on truckin’.

Week 11

So meant to post this a while ago. And I also quit posting in general. Sorry. Life got SUPER busy for a while.

Anyway, here are the stats for week 11:

Upper Arms:      15″ from 15 3/4″
Chest:                 39″ from 39 1/2″       
Waist:                 46″ from 46 1/2″

Thighs:                26 1/2″ from 26 1/2″ 

Weight:  220

Yay: Kept on track and got better about working out.
Meh: Need to work out more.
